Potential Part Shortage

Since the COVID-19 outbreak, we all noticed empty shelves at the grocery store-especially down the toilet paper aisle! But how does the COVID-19 pandemic affect the collision repair industry and you?

Last week a co-worker in our parts department informed me that there were 500 semi trucks waiting to be unloaded at just one auto parts warehouse. Unfortunately, due to the massive lay offs there is no one to unload these trucks. In addition, new parts are not being manufactured. I began to receive e-mails from others in the industry regarding the upcoming potential part shortage.

Currently we are relying on auto part inventory that is already stocked in OEM and aftermarket warehouses. If you are in need of any small, medium or large repairs, we encourage you to reach out to us to order parts before they are scarce or increase in price. While many of us are staying at home, this may be the perfect time to address repairs while you are not using your vehicle.
