Scottsdale Event Shows Support for Veterans and First Responders
Scottsdale, Arizona was the latest stop on the “Reunited States of America Tour” benefiting the Patriots Voice Foundation. The event was held at Volanti restaurant at the Scottsdale Airpark last Friday, March 18th, 2022.
It was an evening of special guests and music. One of the speakers was Jack Holder, a Pearl Harbor survivor. Jack is over 100 years old and stood at the podium and spoke for about ten minutes as he personally recounted joining the military at 18, the attack on Pearl Harbor, and significant moments during WWII. His energy at 100 is amazing and only confirms how mentally and physically strong he must have been as a young United States soldier.
Keynote speaker Lt Joe Torrillo, survivor of the Twin Towers collapse on 9-11 also shared his incredible story and acknowledged fellow NYFD battle buddy, Tom Fenech, Ret NYFD who spent 8 months and 19 days on rescue and recovery at ground zero.
The evening proved to be a successful event and raised donations from both local and nationwide companies. Airpark Collision Center was proud to partner with PPG Auto Paint to support this very worthy cause. This collaborative charity serves veterans and first responders, in addition to working with many non-profits across America.
